The BBC Singers are a professional chamber choir based in London, formed as the BBC's resident professional choir in the early 20th century to provide broadcast choral services and specialising in classical, contemporary and liturgical repertoire. Their work spans early music to contemporary commissions, encompassing broadcasts, recordings and live concert performances and frequent collaborations with composers and orchestras to commission and premiere new choral works within British cultural life.
