About Raygum

A nice place to keep your music brain.

Raygum is a website. You use it to keep track of the music you like, the music you used to like, the music you've been told you should like, and the music you'll get round to one day. Albums, EPs, singles, weird limited 12-inches - it's all in here. You can rate things out of five, file them into playlists, follow the artists who keep doing it for you, read the news the day it breaks, and see what other people thought. That's mostly it.

What You Can Do

The basics: search for an artist, find their stuff, give it a rating out of five. Follow the artists you care about and we'll tell you when they release something or end up in the news. Make playlists. Read what other people made of last week's releases. Link up your Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer or YouTube so you can press play without leaving. None of it costs anything.

Built on Open Data

Most of the data here comes from MusicBrainz, the open music encyclopedia that a community of obsessives has been hand-tending since 2000. They do the hard part; we make it look nicer and easier to argue about.

Get in Touch

Found a bug? Want a feature? Think a release is filed wrong? Just want to talk about music? Send a message. It comes to me directly. I read all of them.

What is Next?

Lots, probably. New things go in when they're ready. Old things get fixed when they break. If you've got ideas, see above.
