Grandaddy

Grandaddy are an American indie rock band formed in Modesto, California, in 1992. Their music blends lo-fi indie rock with analogue synths and electronic textures, pairing melancholic lyrics about rural life and technology; after an extended hiatus in the mid-2000s they returned to recording and touring with richer production and expanded orchestration while retaining a focus on pastoral and technological themes.
