Neutral Milk Hotel

Neutral Milk Hotel are an American indie rock band formed in Ruston, Louisiana, in the late 1980s, associated with psychedelic folk and lo-fi experimental sounds. Their music blends lo-fi production, acoustic instruments and brass with surreal, fragmented lyrics, evolving from home-recorded beginnings to more layered studio arrangements and remaining associated with the Elephant 6 collective and late-1990s independent music scenes.
