Acoustic

Acoustic music began to find its feet in the 1960s, often accompanied by a bit of flared denim and perhaps an inexplicable kick for love songs about fields. Characterised by the absence of electronic amplification, it sounds delightfully raw, as if the artist has invited you over for a cosy singalong whilst trying not to trip over their cat. Many have taken to strumming guitars and emoting passionately, proving that you can indeed belt out your soul without a thousand-watt sound system, and as a bonus, it’s surprisingly good for making you feel all nostalgic and possibly a bit weepy over past romantic escapades.
