Tom Cora

Tom Cora was an American cellist and composer who began his career in the late 1970s and worked across experimental rock, free improvisation and avant-garde jazz. Employing amplified and prepared-cello techniques, electronics and an improvisational approach, his work evolved through solo performances and collaborations with international ensembles and became associated with the downtown New York experimental scene and European improvised-music networks.
