Ranking Roger

Ranking Roger was an English singer and toaster from Birmingham who began his career in the late 1970s and became associated with ska and the 2 Tone movement. Blending Jamaican toasting with punk and pop sensibilities, he performed with ska and new wave projects and later undertook solo and collaborative work that continued to fuse reggae, ska and contemporary rock within the UK's multicultural music scene.
