Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix, later James Marshall Hendrix; 27 November 1942 – 18 September 1970) was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter active in the 1960s. He led the Jimi Hendrix Experience and employed electric-guitar techniques such as feedback, distortion and wah‑wah while fusing blues, rock and psychedelic music in his recordings and live performances.
