Felt

Felt are an English indie band formed in Water Orton, Warwickshire, in 1979, initially associated with the post-punk and jangle pop scenes. Their sound combined chiming, jangly guitars, literate and introspective lyrics and increasingly orchestral arrangements, and over the 1980s they evolved from raw post-punk jangle-pop into more textured, baroque-tinged indie pop that became a reference point within the British independent music scene.
