Trip Hop

Trip-Hop emerged in the early 1990s, primarily in Bristol, where it turns out blending hip-hop beats with moody atmospherics is just the ticket for those days when feeling deeply pensive whilst sipping herbal tea. Characterised by downtempo rhythms and introspective lyrics, it sounds like a late-night cuddle with melancholy, often accompanied by a thoughtful sigh or two.
