Everything but the Girl
Everything but the Girl are an English musical duo formed in Kingston upon Hull in 1982, initially rooted in jazz, folk and sophisti-pop songwriting. Across the 1990s they shifted towards electronic production—embracing house, trip hop and drum and bass influences and combining acoustic songwriting with club-oriented remixes—and after an extended hiatus they returned with new recordings in the 2020s.
