Adrian Utley

Adrian Utley is an English guitarist, composer and producer, best known for his work with the Bristol-based band Portishead, which formed in the early 1990s and is associated with trip hop and electronica. His work blends jazz-influenced guitar, vintage analogue instrumentation and modular synthesis with sample-based production, and he has expanded into film and contemporary classical collaborations, contributing to the development of Bristol's music scene.
