Beth Gibbons
Beth Gibbons is an English singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in the early 1990s as the vocalist of the Bristol trip hop band Portishead. Her voice, characterised by a plaintive, melancholic timbre, is a focal point of Portishead's atmospheric trip hop sound, and she has since explored folk, orchestral and experimental approaches in solo and collaborative projects.
