Hans‐Joachim Roedelius

Hans-Joachim Roedelius is a German electronic musician who began his career in the late 1960s and is associated with ambient, electronic and experimental music. He co-founded experimental groups including Cluster and developed a solo output that explores melodic ambient textures, tape-based experiments and minimal electronic compositions, contributing to the development of krautrock-adjacent, post‑industrial and ambient scenes in Germany and internationally.
