Cluster

Cluster are a German electronic music duo formed in 1971 in West Germany, emerging from the earlier experimental ensemble Kluster and associated with the krautrock, ambient and electronic genres. Their work employs experimental synthesis, tape manipulation and minimalist structures, evolving from abrasive, improvised textures to more melodic ambient pieces that influenced later strands of ambient and experimental electronic music.
