Ken Boothe

Ken Boothe is a Jamaican singer from Kingston who began his career in the early 1960s and is associated with ska, rocksteady and reggae. Characterised by a soulful tenor and smooth interpretations of romantic material, his work progressed from ska and rocksteady into roots reggae and lovers rock and contributed to the development of Jamaican vocal traditions.
