Iggy and The Stooges

Iggy and The Stooges are an American rock band formed in 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their music combined garage rock, blues and experimental elements into a raw, aggressive sound associated with proto‑punk, and their lyrics and live performances frequently explored themes of alienation, urban decay and confrontation.
