Depeche Mode
Depeche Mode are an English electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex, in 1980. Their sound combined synthesiser-based pop and new wave with darker lyrical themes, and over their career they incorporated rock instrumentation, sampling and advanced studio production techniques that influenced the development of electronic and alternative music scenes.
