Asmus Tietchens

Asmus Tietchens is a German experimental electronic musician and composer from Hamburg who began releasing solo work in the late 1970s and is associated with electronic, ambient and electroacoustic genres. His output spans minimal synth pieces, musique concrète and abstract soundscapes, often employing tape manipulation, found sound and stark conceptual approaches that evolved across decades through collaborations and numerous independent releases.
