Bass Culture

Bass Culture is a studio album by Jamaican-British dub poet Linton Kwesi Johnson, released in 1980. It blends spoken-word dub poetry with reggae and dub rhythms, featuring bass-heavy, rhythmic arrangements and overt political and social commentary that placed the release within the development of dub poetry and the British reggae scene.
