Heroes Are Hard to Find is the ninth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1974. The album continues the band's gradual move from blues roots toward softer rock and folk-influenced arrangements, featuring melodic guitar lines, harmonised vocal parts and a mix of electric and acoustic textures, and it occupies a transitional place in their catalogue immediately before the personnel changes that reshaped their sound in the mid-1970s.
