The Land of Rape and Honey is the third studio album by American industrial metal band Ministry, released in 1988. The album was a shift from the band's earlier synth-pop sound to a harsher industrial metal style characterised by distorted guitars, heavy percussion, abrasive sampling and mechanised rhythms, and it was the record on which Ministry established the heavier approach they followed on later releases.
