Way Out West is an album by American jazz tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins, released in 1957. The album is a hard bop record recorded in a trio without piano so the tenor saxophone is at the centre of the sound, and it came during a period when Rollins chose to pursue extended improvisation and new solo formats in his career.
