Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18 is the second piano concerto by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninov, composed in 1900–1901 and revised in 1909. The work is representative of late-Romantic piano concerto writing, combining expansive, lyrical themes, rich chromatic harmonies and demanding solo passages against a full orchestral backdrop, and it followed a period of personal and artistic recovery that re-established Rachmaninov's compositional voice in the early 20th century.
