Bruckner's Symphony No. 2 is the second completed symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed in 1872. The work is rooted in the late-Romantic orchestral tradition, featuring broad, arching structures, prominent brass writing and expansive developmental passages that point forward to Bruckner's later, more monumental symphonies.
