El Rayo-X is the debut solo album by American musician David Lindley, released in 1981. The album draws on roots rock, reggae, Tex-Mex and world music, features Lindley's slide guitar and varied instrumentation, and was his first major release after years as a session musician and as a member of Jackson Browne's band.
