Volta

Volta is the sixth studio album by Icelandic singer Björk, released in 2007. The record blends electronic pop, brass-driven arrangements and dense percussive textures, juxtaposing synthetic and organic sounds and layered vocal treatments, and it marked a shift from the sparse, vocal-centred experimentation of her previous album to a more exuberant, beat-oriented and eclectic approach in her career.
