Water Bearer is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Sally Oldfield, released in 1978. Musically it was rooted in folk and progressive styles, with acoustic arrangements, ambient production, clear melodic vocals and occasional instrumental passages, and it began Oldfield's solo career after earlier work in folk ensembles.
