Civilization Phaze III is a posthumous double album by Frank Zappa, released in 1994, consisting mainly of Synclavier-based compositions interspersed with spoken-word dialogue revisiting the “piano people” concept from Lumpy Gravy. It explores experimental and avant‑garde electronic music and musique concrète with a narrative about a micro‑society inside a piano.
