Pre-Millennium Tension

Pre-Millennium Tension is the second studio album by English trip hop artist Tricky, released in 1996. Musically it moves away from the more atmospheric tone of his debut in favour of abrasive electronics, fractured hip-hop beats, distorted guitar textures and industrial-tinged arrangements, presenting a darker, more confrontational strain of trip hop that signalled a deliberate shift in his solo career towards experimentation and rawer sonic textures.
