This single is by English trip hop group Massive Attack, released in 1998. It exemplified the darker, more experimental direction the group pursued at the time, blending downtempo beats, dub-inflected basslines, fractured electronic textures and Middle Eastern-tinged rhythmic motifs to broaden the boundaries of late-1990s electronic and alternative music.
