Hardcore Devo, Volume 1: 74–77 is a compilation album by American new wave band DEVO, released in 1990. The album collects lo-fi, high-energy proto-punk and new wave demos recorded between 1974 and 1977, characterised by jagged guitar, primitive synthesiser experiments and satirical, angular arrangements that chart the band's formative sound and its evolution into later synth-driven work.
