Kveikur is the seventh studio album by Icelandic band Sigur Rós, released in 2013 on XL Recordings and the first made as a trio following keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson’s departure. It explores post-rock with industrial and noise influences, emphasising distorted bass, dense percussion and darker themes.
