The Obsessed

The Obsessed are an American doom metal band formed in Maryland in the late 1970s, emerging from the Washington, D.C. area underground with a heavy, riff-based approach. Their music blends slow, heavy doom and proto-stoner elements with punk and hard rock influences, and their raw, guitar-driven style is associated with the development of the doom and stoner metal scenes.
