Takashi Asahina

朝比奈隆 was a Japanese conductor who began his career in the early 20th century and worked primarily in orchestral classical music. He specialised in the Austro-German symphonic repertoire, particularly the works of Anton Bruckner, and contributed to the dissemination of Western orchestral repertoire and the development of regional orchestral institutions in post-war Japan.
