Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major, "Romantic", is a symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed in 1874 with significant revisions in subsequent years. The work employs expansive orchestration, prominent brass chorales and sweeping string writing that combine pastoral, medieval and dramatic elements, and it occupies a key place in Bruckner's symphonic output as a development of his mature Romantic language reflecting Wagnerian influences.
