The Brand New Heavies

The Brand New Heavies are a British acid jazz and funk band formed in London in 1985. They blend funk, soul and jazz influences with groove-oriented, live-instrumentation arrangements and have alternated between instrumental grooves and vocal-led tracks, evolving to incorporate elements of contemporary R&B and pop into their sound.
