Sean Paul is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae fusion singer and deejay who began his career in the mid-1990s in Kingston, Jamaica. His music blends dancehall rhythms with pop, hip hop and electronic production, and across his career he has collaborated with international artists and contributed to bringing contemporary dancehall into broader global popular music contexts.
