Ragga

Ragga, which struts onto the scene in the 1980s from Jamaica like it owns the place, is essentially reggae with a turbo boost, featuring digital rhythms and dancehall vibes that make it nearly impossible to sit still. It's characterised by catchy melodies, rapid-fire vocals, and enough bass to rattle your fillings, whilst often playfully tackling themes of love, life, and the occasional bit of cheeky bravado. This genre even manages to bridge gaps, influencing everything from hip hop to pop, making it the musical equivalent of that friend who knows everyone at the party and gets the best snacks.
