F.M. Einheit

F.M. Einheit is a German percussionist and composer who emerged from the West German experimental and industrial music scene in the early 1980s, initially gaining recognition through his work with the industrial group Einstürzende Neubauten and later through solo and collaborative projects. Known for his use of custom-built percussion, found objects and amplified metal to create rhythmic and textural frameworks, his work evolved from abrasive industrial textures to incorporate electro-acoustic composition, sound art and theatrical performance, engaging with the post-industrial cultural context of Germany.
