MONO

MONO are a Japanese instrumental post-rock band formed in Tokyo in 1999. Their music is characterised by long instrumental pieces that employ gradual build-ups from quiet passages to climactic crescendos, layered guitar textures and occasional orchestral arrangements, and over their career they have expanded their arrangements and worked with string ensembles and live orchestras.
