Alexander “Skip” Spence
Alexander "Skip" Spence was a Canadian-born singer, guitarist and songwriter who began his career in the mid-1960s within the San Francisco music scene, working primarily in psychedelic rock and blues-rock. His work moved from band-based psychedelic and blues-rooted arrangements to a stark, introspective solo record that reflected personal turmoil and is associated with the more experimental fringes of the 1960s counterculture.
