Paul Esswood

Paul Esswood is an English countertenor and conductor who began his career in the 1960s, specialising in Baroque and early music repertoire. Associated with the historically informed performance movement, he recorded and performed works by composers such as Bach and Handel and later expanded into choral conducting and recording, participating in the revival of early music.
