Jephtha is an oratorio by George Frideric Handel, first performed in 1752. It is a late-Baroque sacred vocal work combining choral writing, solo arias and recitatives with orchestral accompaniment, and it represents one of Handel's final oratorios, reflecting his mature approach to dramatic sacred narrative.
