Jason Cropper is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter best known as a founding member and early guitarist of Weezer, with whom he co-wrote My Name Is Jonas, working largely in alternative rock and power pop. After departing the band in 1993, he led the project Chopper One, worked with Fliptop, and has continued as a recording artist and producer.
