Henry Rollins is an American musician, writer and spoken-word artist who began his career as the frontman of the Los Angeles hardcore punk band Black Flag in the early 1980s. He later developed a solo career that combined punk-rooted vocal intensity with spoken-word performance and writing, engaging with social and political topics across music, spoken-word tours and media projects.
