Nick Cave

Nick Cave is an Australian singer, songwriter and author who began his career in the late 1970s within the post-punk scene and subsequently led projects spanning rock, gothic and alternative styles. Characterised by a deep vocal delivery and literary, often biblical and gothic lyrical themes, his work evolved from abrasive post-punk into explorations of blues, country, chamber pop and orchestral arrangements, and he has composed for film and undertaken cross-disciplinary collaborations.
