Peter Buck
Peter Buck is an American guitarist who began his career in Athens, Georgia in 1980 as a founding member of the alternative rock band R.E.M. He is known for a chiming, arpeggiated 'jangle' guitar style that became a defining element of early alternative rock, and he has since worked on numerous side projects and collaborations exploring folk, country and experimental rock.
