Mayo Thompson (born 26 January 1944 in Houston, Texas) is an American musician, composer and visual artist who founded the experimental rock band The Red Krayola in the mid-1960s. His work spans psychedelic and avant-garde rock, encompassing solo recordings such as Corky's Debt to His Father and sustained involvement in art and experimental music scenes through collaborations and production.
