While the City Sleeps... is a studio album by American jazz guitarist and singer George Benson, released in 1986. The album has smooth jazz-inflected R&B and pop-oriented production with polished guitar lines and synthesiser-based arrangements, and it continued Benson's move from instrumental jazz toward vocal R&B crossover work in the later phase of his career.
